Classes for rescue dogs

Bringing a rescue dog into your life is one of the most rewarding adventures you’ll ever take—but let’s be real, it can also feel like a rollercoaster ride with no instruction manual. Every rescue pup comes with their own unique story, quirks, and sometimes a suitcase full of challenges.

I’ve had the privilege of working with rescue dogs from all walks of life and helping them (and their humans) find their stride. Even the dogs in my own family are rescues, each with their own personality and lessons to teach. Also, I'm helping those, which still didn't find their home, to be chosen. Trust me—they’ve made me the trainer I am today!

Whether you’re just starting your rescue journey or feel like you’re stuck halfway up a mountain that looks impossible to climb, I’m here to help. With modern, kind training methods and a focus on your dog’s emotional well-being, we’ll work together to build trust, confidence, and that unshakable bond you’ve been dreaming of.

Your rescue dog’s past may be a mystery, but their future? That’s up to you—and I’d love to be part of that journey.

Our 3-year-old rescue, Milo, had severe reactivity toward other dogs. Walks were stressful, and we started avoiding them altogether. The trainer’s positive methods were a game-changer. Instead of punishing Milo, she helped us understand his triggers and taught us how to manage situations calmly. We focused on building his confidence and redirecting his attention, and now Milo can pass dogs on walks with minimal fuss. It’s like night and day! We finally enjoy our time together outside.

When we adopted Scout he came with a lot of challenges—fear of strangers, reactivity toward other dogs, and no basic training. The focus on positive reinforcement and understanding Scout’s past was exactly what he needed. The trainer showed us how to build trust step by step, and over time, Scout became more confident and manageable.

The sessions covered everything from leash manners to calming techniques, and the trainer’s patience and expertise were incredible. Scout now walks calmly on a leash, ignores most dogs, and even greets some people without fear. Training not only helped Scout but also taught us how to communicate with him effectively.

FAQs

How much does it cost?

The initial 15-minute consultation, conducted via Zoom or Google Meet, is free of charge. During this session, we will discuss your goals and my training approach. For optimal results, I recommend purchasing a bundle of five lessons for €280. Individual lessons are available at €60 each.

Do I have to meet in person?

Meeting in person is not required, as I can provide effective guidance through Zoom or Google Meet. However, for training purposes, I may ask for video documentation of your dog’s home environment or specific situations involving problematic behaviour.
